Celtic daft Rod Stewart decorates home with Hoops Christmas wreaths

fails to run out of ways to tribute his favourite football team Celtic .

So it will then come as no surprise how the legendary rocker chose to decorate his home for Christmas.

The 74-year-old hung special wreaths covered in green and white ribbons in tribute to his beloved Hoops on the gates and front door of his mansion.

Inside was no different, with the family's staircase banisters wrapped up in similar style.

His beloved wife Penny Lancaster, 49, gave fans a look at the Celtic-inspired decorations after uploading pictures of them to Instagram.

She captioned the snap: "Celtic through and through at the Stewart’s. Merry Christmas".

And Celts fans were quick to share their delight at Rod's choice of wreath as the post racked up over 3,300 likes.

One wrote: "'More hail hail than ho ho!' - My dad, a fellow Celtic fan."

While another commented: "Best way to be, the wreaths are lovely."

And a third said: "You can take the boy out of Scotland but can’t take Scotland out of the boy!"
