Celtic-daft radio hosts regret Ally McCoist Rangers trolling

Two Celtic-daft broadcasters admits they 'got they were due' after ripping into Ally McCoist about Rangers' disastrous first leg defeat to Club Brugge in their Champions League play-off tie last week.

Brendan Rodgers' side crashed out of UCL qualifying and will now play league phase football in the Europa League this season after Kairat Almaty produced the unthinkable by winning the play-off on penalties.

Both Alan Brazil and Shebahn Aherne appeared on talkSPORT this morning, and reluctantly addressed Celtic's woeful performance in Kazakhstan.

And both were fully expecting to receive it large from Mr McCoist after they dished out pelters to him following Club Brugge's 3-1 victory at Ibrox last Tuesday, with their second leg to come tonight.

Should Rangers manage to come back and overturn the tie in Belgium, then they would play Champions League football. If they exit, then they will play at the exact same level as their city rivals in the Europa League in the months ahead.

Shebahn said: "I watched the penalty shoot-out with the kids last night and then I got up this morning like 'crack on, still in the Europa League, we're not good enough to be in the Champions League, we've not invested, we've not spent any money, not replaced anyone who can score goals, crack on.

"Then I got in at five to six with a brave face and then you came on and now I want to crawl back under my bed and never be seen again!"

Brazil added: "What am I meant to say?

"I gave it to Ally last week and he's got every right to give it to me this morning."

Shebahn then asked: "Do you believe in karma? Because I believe we mugged Ally off so much last week, and now we're like that."

Brazil wasn't having that, responding: "I don't believe in karma."

Addressing Gabby Agbonlahor, who was also in the studio, Shebahn then said: "I think we've got what we were due, Gabby!"
