Celtic could face SPFL 'sanctions' for Boli Bolingoli coronavirus breach

Celtic could reportedly face SPFL sanctions for Boli Bolingoli's coronavirus breach.

The joint reponse group outlined new measures after the left back failed to quarantine on his return from Spain, and the eight Aberdeen players who visited a pub on the opening weekend of the Premiership season.

Under the new guidelines, it is suggested those players will be disciplined by the SFA for breaking quarantine rules.

But STV are reporting Celtic and Aberdeen could also be punished by the SPFL for their players not adhering to the regulations.

They would attend a SPFL hearing to make their case, before their fate would be decided.
