Callum McGregor says fitness doubts aren't creeping into his mind amid another demanding run for Celtic and Scotland.
Already this season, the Parkhead captain has featured in 12 matches across domestic and international competitions, with match 13 likely to follow in Tuesday's UEFA Nations League match between Ukraine and Scotland. The Celtic captain will then look forward to a whopping 13 games before football wraps up for the World Cup on the weekend of November 12th.
On his mind for now though is ensuring Scotland get at least a point at Ukraine to ensure promotion from UEFA Nations League B to A after a 2-1 win over the Republic of Ireland on Saturday at Hampden. McGregor said: "I play 70 matches a season! It would be a shock to the system if I didn’t play three games a week. We understand we have got ourselves in a brilliant position now to top the group.

"Now it’s just about going to try and finish that job. That’s where we want to be. That was the target and goal for us when the Nations League started and we were in Pot C.
“We wanted to get up the pots and play against better teams. That would ultimately develop the team and make players better.
“That’s where we want to be, and we understand the repercussions of the group and this game on Tuesday night. It’s a big game for us and we must do everything we can to perform.”
