Celtic bound Albian Ajeti spotted in Glasgow ahead of move to Scottish champions

Celtic-bound Albian Ajeti has been spotted at Glasgow Airport ahead of his move to the Scottish champions.

The 23-year-old is expected to join the Parkhead club after they met West Ham's £5million asking price.

Pictures appear to show the Swiss striker arriving at Glasgow Airport on Wednesday morning. He is expected to be taken on a tour of Celtic Park and the club's Lennoxtown training facility before sealing the deal.

As reported by the Daily Record, the player was sold on the move by boss Neil Lennon and he could be set to join up with former Basel teammate Moi Elyounoussi.

Ajeti struggled in the English Premier League last season, and failed to score for West Ham in any of his eight appearences.

However he'll be hoping his Celtic switch can reignite his career.

The Hoops have had their next two Premiership matches called off due to the Boli Bolingoli COVID-19 guideline breach. The match scheduled for tonight against St Mirren and Saturday's clash with Aberdeen have both been postponed.
