Celtic boss Neil Lennon says Motherwell pose a threat 'to anybody'

Celtic boss Neil Lennon says Motherwell's front three will pose a threat in tomorrow's Premiership clash at Celtic Park.

Lennon was full of admiration for Steelmen boss Graham Alexander in what he has achieved in his career, and says he has made little changes at Motherwell that are making a difference.

And the Northern Irishman admitted lack of fans is causing significant problems to the Scottish champions.

He said: "Graham had a stellar career as a player, great longevity in the game, and he's done very well in his coaching career so far.

"They've changed their set-up a little bit, tweaked it a little bit, and certainly defensively at set plays they look a little bit more organised; they've gone from man-marking to zonal, so he's just tweaked little things here and there.

"He has a decent squad of players, and their front three could be a handful for anybody in this division."

On lack of supporters, and Celtic going from a 2-1 defeat at home to St Mirren to a 4-0 triumph at Kilmarnock in midweek, Lennon said: "We just have to take it game by game and just keep looking to improve.

"It was a far better performance [at Kilmarnock] in terms of presence on the pitch, body language, work-rate, all those things I didn't get at the weekend, so I was very pleased with the comprehensive win away from home.

"Again, we would look to take that attitude and demeanour into the game tomorrow.

"I've touched on it many times, I think the fact there are no fans there has a huge detrimental effect on not just the players but the club itself.

"There are plenty other examples of it around the UK and in Europe. Subconsciously we just don't get that edge, that drive from the supporters that you would normally get, so I think that has been a huge factor on our home form."
