Celtic boss Neil Lennon pays tribute to former Cliftonville midfielder Ryan Catney

Celtic manager Neil Lennon joined the tributes to outgoing Cliftonville midfielder Ryan Catney.

Catney enjoyed his testimonial dinner on Friday night as he bid farewell to the club he served for 12 years.

During his time at Solitude the midfielder won numerous trophies including the famous back-to-back titles in 2013 and '14.

Lennon knows all about winning trophies, having helped Celtic clinch another treble last season.

The former Northern Ireland midfielder said in his video message: "Hi Ryan, it's Neil Lennon here. I want to congratulate you on a marvellous career at Cliftonville.

"I know that you won many trophies, and I also know that you have come back from adversity with a horrendous injury. And it's a mark of your character and talent.

"I know you're having a big night tonight and I hope everything goes well because it's thoroughly deserved. Congratulations."
