Celtic boss Neil Lennon has confirmed that the club are in talks with Motherwell over a move for midfielder David Turnbull.
However, Lennon has "no idea" if the clubs have yet reached an agreement.
Celtic renewed their interest in the Scotland under-21 star, with Lennon sending scouts Gavin Strachan and Nick Hammond to recent games, 14 months after a £3million-plus move broke down when a knee injury was discovered during the player's medical in June 2019.
Turnbull has since undergone surgery and returned to the Motherwell first team just before the coronavirus shut-down.

He has played all of Motherwell's five Premeirship matches so far this season, scoring in the 2-2 draw at home to Livingston.
Lennon confirmed interest in Turnbull, but said with a Champions League qualifier against Ferencvaros tomorrow, he didn't want distractions.
It is believed that Celtic and Motherwell are close to agreeing a fee for the player, believed to be in the region of £3m.
Turnbull's exit would be a huge blow for Motherwell, ahead of their Europa League first round qualifier against Glentoran on Thursday.
