Celtic boozer Bar 67 cordoned off by police amid ongoing incident

Police have sealed off a popular Celtic bar in the Glasgow area.

Officers could be seen standing guard outside the Bar '67 in the Gallowgate, after it was cordoned off last night.

The nature of the incident is unknown.

Responding to a supporter questioning what had happened, a Twitter account for the boozer posted: "Trouble outside the pub mate nothing to do with us".

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.

Celtic's claimed a 2-1 Scottish Cup Final win over Hearts at Hampden Park.

Thousands of Celtic fans descended on the area following the historic Treble-Treble win.

Footage from the Trongate shows a sea of flags and banners as chanting supporters let off flares in the centre of the city.

Celtic had to reroute their bus parade after supporters blocked the streets.

The Hoops had planned to head through the Gallowgate and Saltmarket but the bus was unable to get through and they had to make an alteration to the planned procession.

Thousands of fans who had gathered in the area missed the opportunity to see their heroes during the parade.

A statement from Celtic said: “Due to safety concerns, the bus parade, on the advice of Police Scotland, had to be rerouted. There were numerous supporters on the road and the safety of our fans will always be our priority.

“While this is unfortunate, it is outwith our control and we hope to have another event in the near future to celebrate today’s momentous occasion.”

Last night we showed you the hilarious moment a thirsty Hoops fan receives a can of beer by very special delivery.

The supporter can be seen climbing a traffic light to receive the beverage sent down from a flat window by fishing rod in the middle of Glasgow.

In the video posted on Twitter, the man then opens the can cheered on by the masses of people below.
