During domestic fixtures, the average ball movement during possession phases (km) for the Hoops is 11.7km per game, compared to 11.5km for Lionel Messi's side.

The stat places Celtic as the fifth best team in Europe in terms of how much they move the ball around during games, bettered only by Bayern Munich (12.7km), Manchester City (12.5km), Liverpool (12.3km) and Bayer Leverkusen (11.9km).
