Celtic B vs Rangers B: All you need to know including kick-off time and where to watch

Sunday's Scottish Cup semi final is not the only Old Firm clash being played this week as Celtic B face Rangers B this evening.

The pair both play in Scotland's Lowland League and face off at Parkhead tonight.

Bonnyrigg Rose have already been crowed champions, but there is still pride to play as the Hoops currently sit third, six points behind the Gers.

Rangers B have a game in hand though, so the battle is still very much on.

Here is everything you need to know about tonight's clash, including how to tune in if you fancy it.

When is Celtic B vs Rangers B?

Celtic B host Rangers B in a Lowland League clash at Parkhead tonight - Tuesday 12 April.

Kick off is at 7.30pm.

Can you watch the B-team Old Firm anywhere?

The match is not being televised by any of the major broadcasters.

However, Cetlic are streaming the game live via their Pass to Paradise service.

Coverage begins at 7.15pm here.

Overseas viewers can also see the game as part of their subscription.

Can you buy tickets for Celtic B vs Rangers B?

Celtic supporters can buy tickets from the ticket office until kick-off this evening.

However, fans must have registered for a Celtic account on or prior to 13/03/2022 to buy a match ticket.

Without an account, you will be unable to secure a seat.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

Unfortunately, no Rangers fans will be allowed inside the stadium.

Who is the ref?

Taking charge of tonight's match is Matthew MacDermid.

He'll be assisted by Colin Drummond and Jordan Curran.

Results from previous meetings

The sides last met on 19 March this year where Rangers held their rivals to a 3-0 victory.

Played at Ibrox, without spectators, the fourth place Rangers B side put three by third place Celtic B.

Tonight is just the second time the sides have faced each other in the Lowland League this season.

However, the Glasgow City Cup meeting between the pair last month ended in a 3-1 victory for the Bhoys.

Who are the managers?

Rangers B team

The Rangers B-team side is jointly managed by David McCallum and Brian Gilmour.

McCallum has been involved in football from a young age playing for Motherwell, Stirling Albion, Partick Thistle and Queen's Park.

He spent give years in the Spiders' Head of Youth Academy position before a two year stint as under-19s coach with Northern Ireland.

He joined the Light Blues in 2015 as an academy coach at Auchenhowie before moving to become Rangers' Head of Professional Phase and then taking over from Kevin Thomson to become B team boss.

Brian Gilmour - ex Rangers academy, Clyde and Ayr United player - was appointed joint B team boss back in 2020 after three years of coaching in the academy.

Celtic B team

The Hoops' B team manager, Tommy McIntyre, has been coaching at Celtic youth and reserve level since 2009.

The ex Aberdeen, Hibernian and Airdrie defender took on the role upon Celtic's entrance into the Lowland League in the 2021/22 season.
