Celtic B team player Liam Bonetig has left the club to move back to Australia.
The defender has joined A-League champions Melbourne City.
The centre-back had one year remaining on his contract at Celtic Park, having signed a three-year deal when he moved to Glasgow from Western Sydney Warriors in 2023.
After an agreement was struck with Celtic, City have now signed the 20-year-old on a three year deal.

He will join up with former Hoops loanee Marco Tilio.
“It’s a really exciting moment for me to return to Australia and to be able to join the reigning Champions makes it even more special," Bonetig said. “I’ve learnt a lot over in Scotland over the past two years and I’m hungry to keep improving.
"There’s no better environment to do that in Australia than at City.
“I can’t wait to get started and do everything I can to help the team have another big season and win more trophies for the City fans.”
