Celtic and St Johnstone face kick-off disruption as Europa League calendar conflict offers further change

Celtic's clash with St Johnstone will face a delayed kick-off time after the start of the game was pushed back for TV.

Neil Lennon 's team will make their way to Perth to face the Saints on Friday, October 2.

The McDiarmid Park fixture was due to kick off at the standard time of 7.45pm.

But Sky Sports have requested the game now begin 30 minutes later at 8.15pm.

The move may end up being moot regardless given the game will have to be moved again should the Hoops, as expected, get past either Latvians Riga or San Marino side Tre Fiori in the 3rd Qualifying round.

The minnows will face off against each other tomorrow night in Latvia for the chance to host the former European Cup winners.

All ties in the Europa League are one-legged affairs with the third round game coming on September 24 play-off coming a week later on October 1.
