Celtic and Scottish football are facing a Channel 4 investigation over alleged paedophile rings.
Alex Thomson, chief correspondent for the network, confirmed the news on social media on Saturday.
The presenter shared a short video clip outside Parkhead Stadium, with no noise in the background.
Alex, 59, said Scottish football is 'infamous for its silence'.
He wrote: "Famous for its noise.
"Now infamous for its silence.
"Is Scottish football dealing with its past paedophile rings generally?
"Is Celtic FC particularly?
"Special investigation with new evidence now being edited for @Channel4News".
In just two hours the tweet amassed 900 likes, over 500 retweets and almost 300 comments.
The Daily Record have contacted Celtic FC and Channel 4 for comment.
