Celtic and Rangers target Lyndon Dykes set for QPR move

Livingston's star man Lyndon Dykes is set to miss his side's match against Rangers this afternoon after a bid from Queens Park Rangers was accepted.

QPR are managed by Mark Warburton, and he appears to have done his former club a turn.

Rangers and Celtic have both been linked with the striker, but it looks like his future is now in the English Championship.

A report in the Daily Mail says Dykes won't be involved when Livingston take on Rangers at the Tony Macaroni Arena this afternoon, with the home side having accepted a bid of around £2m for the striker.

Although Dykes was born in Australia, he could be selected by Steve Clarke for future Scotland squads.

Livingston take on Rangers in the Premiership at 4.30 this afternoon.

Looking ahead to the match, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard said: "We have had some positive results at Livi but it's still been a very tough challenge. A physical challenge.

"They are a good team, an organised team. They try and take you out your comfort zone and I think we got a real eye-opener in our first visit.

"We're under no illusions that it's going to be a real tough game. It's a game we're going to have to be focused for and ready, but we're in good form.

"We're in a good place, and it's up to us to go there and win a war, and win a battle, before our quality can show."
