Celtic and Rangers target Bahlul Mustafazada delivers update on his future

Bahlul Mustafazada has revealed he isn't bothered if he signs for either Celtic or Rangers after being linked with both clubs.

The Azerbaijan international defender has been targeted by both the Glasgow giants after impressing for Gabala.

The 22-year-old central defender is with his country's training camp ahead of their Euro 2020 matches against Hungary and Slovakia.

And he revealed it wouldn't bother him if he ended up playing for either Neil Lennon or Steven Gerrard .

Mustafazada said: "My aim is to play abroad and I have read about the interest from both Celtic and Rangers. There's been nothing concrete yet though.

"I would do anything to try and make this move happen.

" Celtic or Rangers? For me there is no difference.

"Yes, it would be interesting to work with a coach like Steven Gerrard, but the main thing for me is my development.

"I do not intend to join any of the clubs in Glasgow just to sit on the bench.

"For the moment though, I am concentrating on our two very important games coming up because I believe we can get the six points."
