Celtic and Rangers Scottish Cup TV date and kick-off times revealed

The BBC and Premier Sports have announced dates and kick-off times for all of the televised Scottish Cup third round ties, with Celtic and Rangers among those picked for live coverage.

The Scottish Premiership's top teams enter the competition at this stage and found out their opponents on Tuesday night after the second round was played to completion.

Celtic were drawn against either Arbroath or Falkirk and it was the League One side who advanced thanks to Kai Fotheringham's late winner.

The tie at Celtic Park has been picked by Premier Sports and will kick off at 7.30pm on Saturday, April 3.

Rangers are also at home and they will face another League One team in Cove, who beat Alloa back in January before the lower leagues were put on ice.

Steven Gerrard 's team are due to meet Paul Hartley's charges on Sunday April 4, at the unconventional kick-off time of 6.30pm.

That match will also be shown on Premier Sports.

The BBC have the remaining TV picks and the cup coverage will start on the Friday evening with a Highland Derby between Ross County and Inverness.

Aberdeen then travel to Dumbarton in the early Saturday kick-off, before Queen of the South round out the televised fixtures when they play host to Hibs on Monday 5 April.
