Celtic and Rangers receive nominations in Football Content Awards

Celtic and Rangers are both represented in the Football Content Awards 2020.

There are also nods for Si Ferry's popular Open Goal podcast and the Scottish national team.

The awards recognise the social media efforts of fans, players, clubs and writers.

Celtic have been nominated alongside the Scottish national team and the likes of Roma, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain in the International section of the 'Best Football Club with Stream Football' award.

Open Goal was nominated in the 'Small Team or Business' section of the 'Best in Video' category, as well as the 'International' section of the 'Best Podcast' category, where they were joined by the A Celtic State of Mind podcast and The SPFL Show among others.

Rangers supporters received two nominations in the 'International' section of the 'Best Club Content Creator with Snack Media' category, with Cjnovo992 and Rangers Fan Show both recognised.

The nominees for 'Best Charitable Campaign' included the Bradley Lowery Foundation, of which Rangers striker Jermain Defoe is a patron.

Voting ends on June 18, and the winners be announced at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a date to be confirmed.
