Celtic and Rangers Premier Sports Cup semi final kick off times confirmed as Hampden set for bumper weekend

The four teams involved in the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals have learned the kick-off times for their matches.

The last four ties in the League Cup will be played in November, with an exiting line-up for fans and neutrals but punters face a sweat to get there ahead of a looming Scotrail strike planned.

Double winners St Johnstone are back at Hampden as they look to continue their remarkable run in cup competitions.

Also in the mix trying to reach the final are Hibs, who have fallen short at the semi-final stage numerous times under Jack Ross.

And of course there's the potential for a Rangers vs Celtic final, with the Glasgow rivals on opposite sides of the draw.

The Parkhead club are looking to win silverware after a potless season, while lifting the trophy would go a long way to easing any concerns around Ange Postecoglou.

And while Rangers may be Premiership champions, Steven Gerrard will be desperate to finally end his poor record in domestic cup competitions.

The first tie sees Celtic take on St Johnstone on Saturday November 20, and that match will have a 5.15pm kick-off.

The following day sees Rangers face Hibs at 4pm.

Both ties will be shown live on Premier Sports, with the television company also sponsoring the competition this season.
