Celtic and Rangers legends join Sky Sports as Scottish football lineup is revealed

The lineup for Sky Sports' Scottish football coverage has been unveiled.

The broadcaster has exclusive rights to the Premiership and will be showing up to 48 live matches as part of their five-year contract.

Eilidh Barbour will host the coverage, with Ian Crocker and Andy Walker continuing to provide commentary.

As reported by the Scottish Sun, Rangers and Celtic legends Ally McCoist and John Hartson will join the team for the new season, alongside former Manchester United man Darren Fletcher.

Kris Boyd and James McFadden will also continue to appear as analysts.

Kris Commons will no longer be involved.

Sky Sports begin their Premiership coverage with three matches from the opening round of fixtures.

On Saturday, Steven Gerrard's Rangers face Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

The following day, Neil Lennon's Celtic welcome Hamilton Accies to Celtic Park.

On Monday night, Ross County take on Motherwell in Dingwall.

Speaking on their website, Sky Sports director of football Gary Hughes said: "We're delighted to be able to bring our customers comprehensive and exclusive coverage of the Scottish Premiership in this, the first year of a five-year contract.

"It promises to be a thrilling season and we can't wait to get going on August 1 on the home of Scottish football."
