Celtic and Rangers in Europa League TV gaffe as Ibrox delegate reacts to unfortunate mistaken identity

An amused Rangers delegation was forced to point UEFA in the right direction after TV cameras mistook them for Celtic .

Representatives from both sides were in Nyon for Monday's Europa League last 32 draw.

Rangers drew Portuguese outfit Braga while Celtic will face Danish champions FC Copenhagen.

But as the Hoops' came out of the hat, UEFA 's cameraman mistakenly panned to their rivals' entourage.

With a wry smile, the Rangers delegate signalled to where the Celtic party could be found.

It was a lighthearted moment as the two Glasgow clubs emerged from the draw with relatively favourable ties.

Rangers, in particular, avoided European heavyweights such as Manchester United, Inter Milan and Ajax.

Their opponents, Braga, currently languish in 9th position in the Portuguese top flight, 14 points behind Porto whom Steven Gerrard's side have already beaten this term.

Celtic, meanwhile, will head to Denmark brimming with confidence given their stellar group stage showing.

Neil Lennon's team have shown they can mix it with the big guns, having dispatched Lazio not once, but twice on their way to topping their group.

They will take on Copenhagen away from home on February 20 before the return leg at Celtic Park on February 27.

Rangers, on the other hand, will host Braga first at Ibrox on February 20, with the away leg on February 26.
