Rangers fans fume at 'cheating' Celtic skipper Scott Brown - Hotline

Two men continued to dominate the post Old Firm fallout.

Step forward Celtic captain Scott Brown and Rangers hitman Alfredo Morelos .

First up was Gerry Milligan, Erskine , who said: "If you think Sunday's game was hot to handle then just wait until the final game at Ibrox.

"Brown will be targeted by the crowd and all the Rangers players no matter the pleas by all parties beforehand for decorum."

Bob Leishman, Biggar , said: "Brown kicks a player who then retaliates and gets sent off and he laughs.

"He then celebrated victory in front of 800 opposition fans rather than 60,000 of his own fans which could have possibly started a riot.

Tom Campbell. Rutherglen , said: "Rangers players took the bait and fell straight into traps that Brown laid.

"Brown had to take his medicine at Ibrox from Scott Arfield in December and he has just given it back to Rangers.

"It will be a similar story for Brown if Rangers win the next derby."

Tony Kerrigan, Erskine , said: "Brown is now in the minds of all the Rangers players now.

"They all seem to be out to get to him and he just constantly comes out on top as he is a born winner.

"Deep down if they were to admit Brown is the exactly the kind of player that the Rangers supporters would love to have in their team."

Paul Price, East Belfast, said: "The Rangers fans are still hurting from the fact that Brown chose to sign for Celtic instead of them all those years ago.

"If he is in your team you love Brown, if not then you hate him."

Eddie Easson Ballingry Fife , said: "Brown is not not worthy of being a captain said Colin Hendry.

"That is rich coming from Braveheart who is nothing more than a conman.

"Broony learnt his lesson the harsh way after the Neymar incident against Barcelona when he was sent off in the Champions League."

Alfredo Morelos elbows Scott Brown for another red card (Internet Unknown)

David Runham, Southampton , said: "So John Kennedy thinks Brown is a class act. Everyone seems to have forgotten that Brown kicked Morelos first.

"I admit that Morelos has the shortest fuse in the world but both players should have been red carded."

Ralph Yardley, Glasgow , said: "A class act? Don't make me laugh.

"Brown has a cowardly sly flick at Morelos while his back's turned and that's provocation.

Inside the 'emotional' Celtic dugout during nerve-shredding end to Rangers clash

"Despite Morelos elbow making no contact with his face he goes down as if he has been pole axed by Tyson Fury, so that's simulation.

"It is cheating pure and simple, if Morelos walks then so should Brown."

John Caw, emailed : "It was Rangers' inadequacy and inability to handle the Celtic skipper that cost them on Sunday.

"Brown hasn’t hurt or maimed anyone but enjoyed a Super Sunday stroll at Celtic Park."

Rangers set to decide if Alfredo Morelos fine money will go to fans

Ian McFarlane, Glasgow , said: "A Rangers supporter called the hotline and can't see the irony in calling Brown a 'ned' yet at the same time applauding Ryan Kent for punching his opponent.

"How can we clean up football when someone delights in seeing an on-field assault?

"I can't say I've ever wanted to see any player punched, irrespective of who they play for."

Augustine Murphy, emailed : "People seem to have short memories about Brown's celebrations.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard responds to Celtic skipper Scott Brown's 'fishing' taunt

"It was not that long ago that senior Rangers players after an Old Firm victory at Parkhead indulged in the huddle in front of Celtic fans.

"That was something they had never done before or after

"So the Rangers supporters just need to bite their tongues and take defeat.

"There is always another day as far as these games are concerned."

On to Morelos now and Gordon Ashley, Ayr , said: Morelos’s goals in Europe all came against teams that were no bigger than Hibs or Motherwell and he just cannot score against Celtic.

"Rangers will get no offers over £4-5m for this fool."

Video: Andy Gray on Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos after his latest red card: "I'd sell him"

Michael Pollockus, Blantyre , said: "Morelos has had 17 yellow cards and five reds this season and some people still think he is Scottish Football's player of the year.

"Are they having a laugh? The Colombian should be nowhere near it."

Ryan Milsom, Renfrew , said: "Morelos was never red carded when he played in Finland. Deduce what you will from that statistic."

Dunky Robertson, London , said: "A few weeks ago Steven Gerrard thought that Morelos was worth £20 million.

"I think Rangers had better pay somebody to take the Colombian off their hands. He is the definition of a liability."

James Roberston, Dennistoun , said: "Is there any truth in the rumour that Morelos has changed his nickname from El Buffalo to El Bow?"

Finally Dougie Allison, Fauldhouse , said: "Andy Gray reckons Rangers should get rid of Morelos.

"I’ve said from the start of the season that Morelos is trouble so can Andy do me a favour and tell the board.

"Hopefully Gray can also recommend that James Tavernier is moved on as well.

"Tavernier is not a defender or a Rangers captain.

"It is time that Rangers cashed in on both players whilst they still have some monetary value."
