Celtic and Rangers Europa League draw details as clubs prepare to learn fate

Celtic and Rangers will find out their Europa League fate on Tuesday afternoon.

Monday's draw for the second qualifying round saw Steven Gerrard's side drawn against Lincoln Red Imps. They'll play in Gibraltar on September 17 at the Victoria Stadium, where Red Imps famously beat Brendan Rodgers' Celtic side 1-0 in 2016. Celtic won the return leg 3-0 at Celtic Park.

Celtic go straight into the third qualifying round, having dropped down from the Champions League after losing 2-1 to Ferencvaros at Celtic Park on Wednesday.

The draw for the third qualifying round will be made at 12pm on Tuesday in Nyon, Switzerland. Fans can watch the draw live on the UEFA website.

Each tie will take place behind closed doors over one leg, with extra time and penalties to be played if necessary.

The ties will be played on September 24, with the winning teams advancing to the Europa League playoff round.

The international break means Celtic and Rangers are not back in action until September 12, with Celtic facing Ross County in Dingwall while Rangers host Dundee United at Ibrox.
