Celtic and Rangers clearer on potential Europa League draws as pots confirmed

Celtic and Rangers moved a step closer to learning who they will face in the Europa League after tonight's matches.

Pots have now been confirmed, with Braga and Lincoln Red Imps still playing but the Portuguese side cruising with a 7-0 aggregate lead.

The league phase draw will be carried out tomorrow at 12pm BST.

Both Glasgow clubs will then know which teams they face but things have already become a lot clearer with the draw line-up confirmed.

As a result of their strong coefficient due to recent years' performances, Rangers are in Pot One along with Roma, Porto and Aston Villa so will avoid some of the proper heavyweights.

There are still some possible tough opponents in Pot Two, such as Fenerbahce and Lyon. Celtic are also in there but of course the two Scottish sides can't be paired together.

Sides to look out for in Pots Three and Four include Nottingham Forest, Freiburg, Bologna and Celta Vigo.
