Celtic and Rangers Betfred Cup TV details revealed as Premier Sports pick both games

Celtic and Rangers games in the next round of the Betfred Cup will both be shown back-to-back on Premier Sports.

The matches have been selected for TV by the broadcaster, who have full and exclusive rights to the tournament this season.

With both clubs in European action on the Thursday night, the games have been schedueld for Sunday with Celtic to host Ross County in a Midday kick-off.

They haven't officially been announced yet but Premier Sports have included them on their guide on their website.

The Hoops will be up first with Rangers' trip to Falkirk immediately following it.

Neil Lennon's men host County on Sunday, November 29 with a 2pm kick-off and Rangers travel to the Falkirk Stadium for a 5pm kick-off on the same day.

Celtic battered Ross County in their only meeting so far this season with a 5-0 win in Dingwall back in September.

Since then, they've been on a mixed run of form but will be hoping to make it 36 domestic cup games unbeaten as they look to hold on to their trophy.

No other club has won the League Cup since it was renamed the Betfred Cup, with County the last champions before Celtic back in 2016.

Steven Gerrard will take his side to Falkirk in the first meeting between the sides since a Scottish Cup quarter final clash at Ibrox in 2018.

That was before the Liverpool hero took over, and Jason Cummings grabbed a hat-trick with an own goal from Aaron Muirhead adding to it.

James Tavernier and Alfredo Morelos are the only survivors from the Rangers team that day.
