Celtic and Motherwell football fans are to unite in support of World Cancer Day.
Fans of both teams, who will meet ahead of their league game at Fir Park, Motherwell, tomorrow night (Wednesday, January 5) are being encouraged to donate to the special can collection being held in aid of the Beatson Cancer Charity.
Motherwell Community Trust urged fans of both sides to dig deep, tweeting: “Today is #WorldCancerDay and our partners @Beatson_Charity will be at tomorrow evening’s @MotherwellFC @CelticFC match doing a can collection.
“This amazing charity will be raising funds to provide support to patients and families.”
