Celtic and Hearts set to give youth a chance in Premiership season finale

Hearts will go with younger squad for their final league game of the season at Celtic Park on Sunday.

Uche Ikpeazu (hamstring), Peter Haring (groin) and Arnaud Djoum (Achilles) have still to prove their fitness for the Scottish Cup final at Hampden the following weekend and manager Craig Levein has vowed to take a youthful squad to Celtic Park.

Callumn Morrison, Aidan Keena, Ben Garuccio, Demetri Mitchell and Steven Naismith are all still out with knee injuries.

Provisional Hearts squad: Zlamal, M Smith, Godinho, Burns, Brandon, Dikamona, Hughes, Berra, Souttar, Shaughnessy, Cochrane, Mulraney, Bozanic, Lee, Clare, Wighton, MacLean, C Smith, Vanecek, Edwards, Petkov, Hickey, Doyle.

The 16-year-old has been training with the first-team squad as interim boss Neil Lennon looks to rest some players ahead of the final against the Jambos the following week.

James Forrest (hamstring) and Kieran Tierney (hernia) are among two regulars who will sit out while Ryan Christie (face), Jack Hendry, Vakoun Bayo, Dedryck Boyata (all hamstring), Craig Gordon, Eboue Kouassi and Daniel Arzani (all knee) are still out. Leigh Griffiths is back training after dealing with personal issues.

Provisional Celtic squad: Bain, Toljan, Lustig, Benkovic, Simunovic, Ajer, Izaguirre, Brown, Rogic, McGregor, Ntcham, Bitton, Dembele, Sinclair, Hayes, Burke, Henderson, Edouard, Johnston, De Vries.
