Former Boston Celtic veteran guard Avery Bradley is evidently fitting in well in his new home with the Miami Heat, earning the praises of Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra.
Bradley — drafted by the Celtics with the 19th overall pick of the 2010 NBA draft — played for Boston for the first seven seasons of his career before being dealt to the Detroit Pistons in 2017 to help make room for the contract of incoming free agent Gordon Hayward. Since having played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies and L.A. Lakers (winning a title with the latter) the Texas product has most recently joined the Heat.

Speaking to Heavy.com’s Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, Spoelstra had nothing but love for the former Celtic’s fit on his new squad.
“Avery is a guy that can play in any system,” shared the Heat head coach. “As long as it’s a contending team, he fits. He’s a really good basketball player, he’s a winner and a two-way player, a legit two-way player.”
The Celtic alumnus has had a bigger role than he did with the Lakers in the 2019-20 regular season, scoring 14.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game with Miami in their still-young season.
