Celtic star Leigh Griffiths' girlfriend has posted a heartfelt message to the footballer after he scored a crucial goal over the weekend.
Caitlyn Melville took to Instagram to praise her boyfriend for scoring his first goal in five months against Partick Thistle.
The Scot netted for Celtic in a 2-1 win over the Jags in the Scottish Cup , his first game since December 12.
After the game, Caitlyn gushed: "You'll always be my number one, a whole lot more than good enough."
The message is a lyric from the song Better Half of Me by Tom Walker.
Griffiths himself said after the match: "It's been a long time coming. It's frustrating not playing. Today I've shown I can still score goals and play well. I've just had to bide my time, keep working hard in training and when I get my chance I need to play well and score goals.
"My time at Celtic is far from finished, believe me.
"And hopefully this is just the start of a good run."
