Celtic 3-0 Hibs: Player ratings from defeat at Celtic Park as Hibs given tough assessment

Hibernian have lost their unbeaten away record after an insipid display at Celtic Park as Neil Lennon's men ran out comfortable 3-0 winners.

The Easter Road side quickly found themselves on the back foot against the champions and after conceding just eight minutes into the contest, never seriously looked like getting back into the game.

Second half strikes from Albian Ajeti and Mohamed Elyounoussi wrapped up the three points for the hosts, with the Hibees failing to register any shots on target.

But how did the players rate? Let us know if you agree with our assessment below

Marciano - 6

Will be disappointed with his efforts for Celtic's second goal, but made some vital saves in the second half to keep the score down.

McGinn - 7

Another solid, if unspectacular, performance.

Porteous - 6

Not necessarily at fault for any of Celtic's goals, but this was by far his most anonymous performance of the season.

Hanlon (C) - 6

See above.

Doig - 4

A difficult day for the teenager, who was replaced at half time after being given a bit of a chasing by Jeremie Frimpong.

Boyle - 7

Pace caused Celtic occasional issues, but generally unable to get on the ball and trouble their back line.

Gogic - 6

Looked a little bit sloppy in possession and struggled to hold back a dominant Celtic midfield.

Newell - 6

Was often overrun alongside Gogic and uncharacteristically poor in possession.

Wright - 5

After seeing his best last week, this was a disappointingly quiet day for him.

Doidge - 6

Entitled to be frustrated with the lack of support at times and struggled to get into the game

Nisbet - 6

Looked lively and troubled Shane Duffy with runs in behind, but unable to get on target.

Stevenson - 7

Fared much better than Doig up against Frimpong and wrote himself into the record books with his 487th appearance for the club.

Murphy - 7

Looked positive when he came on, but starved of service much like most of his teammates.

Mallan - 5

Little time to make a proper impact.
