Telecoms infrastructure provider Cellnex UK has opened three new offices across Scotland and England as part of its continued investment in wireless connectivity.
The new sites in Manchester, Leamington Spa and North Lanarkshire will host more than 150 people.
The Scottish office is located in the Strathclyde Business Park near Belshill.
They are aimed at supporting the company in providing upgrades to 4G and 5G infrastructure, smart communications networks, street level infrastructure and private networks.
The regional hubs will also help to ensure Cellnex UK is delivering localised support to its customers, as well as increasing the opportunity for partnerships and collaborative projects.
Cellnex UK is part of Cellnex Telecom, a European wireless telecommunications and broadcasting infrastructure company which has invested £6.1bn in its UK operations over the last 18-months and is part of the UK’s roll-out of 5G networks.
UK managing director David Crawford said: "Our three new offices will allow Cellnex UK to deliver an increasingly localised service and contribute to economic growth and digital innovation in each region.
"The regional approach will help us to accelerate our work in bringing connectivity to everyone, everywhere in the UK."
