Celeste Barber Has Shared A Snappy & Sassy Response To The Marie Claire Photoshop Claims

Aussie comedian and actor Celeste Barber has shared a sassy AF response to all the online trolls who claimed her recent Marie Claire Australia cover shoot was photoshopped.

In celebration of 30 years, women’s magazine Marie Claire Australia tapped the hilarious Celeste Barber to recreate iconic fashion moments for its milestone issue.

For the cover, Barber is seen sporting Jennifer Lopez‘s iconic 2019 rendition of her 42nd Grammys Versace dress while serving absolute FACE.

Shortly after Marie Claire Australia and the comedian shared the cover on its social media, some viewers took to the comments to accuse the publication of photoshopping Barber.

“Heavily photoshopped Celeste Barber is sacrilege,” one person wrote.

“Sorry, but this [is] not you, doesn’t look like you with all the Photoshop! What happened to your authentic view on Real image?? I got to unfollow,” another person commented.

However, in true Barber sass, the comedian addressed the photoshop rumours with a sassy and snappy Instagram video.

Taking to Instagram video, displaying her cvnty magazine cover, Barber dismissed the editing claims, exclaiming, “I just look that fucking good!”.

“I know! You guys are just so used to me showing what I look like as a slapped arse. This is me as well!”, Barber laughed, pointing at the cover.

“I look this good when there’s 15 kilos of hair put on my head, and then Koh has to snatch my face up to give me a bit of a Kris Jenner lift to hold the wig in place and then Kristyan [Low] just paints my face like an absolute wizard and contours things.

“And I have a feeling I think they shipped lighting in for this, because sister needs a bit of help, and then Georges [Antoni], with his amazing angles with the camera, this is just how I look! I’m so sorry, but I look fucking great!”

Look, if anyone is gonna have a saucy, snazzy clap back at haters, it’s gonna be Celeste! And you know what? She looks absolutely STOOONIN’ in that legendary dress!

Totally cover-worthy.
