Former royal Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has landed at the top of a long list of British socialites repeatedly named in a huge new cache of documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein. More than 23000 pages tied to the late convicted sex offender were released by the US House Oversight Committee as part of an ongoing program.
The documents include emails logs letters subpoenas travel slips legal notes and interview summaries that stretch across several decades.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is far from the only well known name to surface. He is one of about 30 recognizable British figures mentioned in the database which reads like a roster of major political cultural and entertainment personalities, as per the Express.
The appearance of a name does not imply wrongdoing but the sheer volume of British mentions has sparked outrage and anxiety in Westminster as people try to understand the scale of the connections.

The former Duke of York has been under public scrutiny since his BBC Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis in 2019. During that one on one conversation he discussed his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell who is now serving time in prison.
Andrew used the interview to deny having sex with then seventeen year old Virginia Giuffre and said he was at Pizza Express in Woking on the day the alleged encounter took place.

Sarah Ferguson is mentioned nine times in the documents. She became entangled in the scandal after a 2011 email revealed she had called Epstein her “supreme friend” and seemed to apologise for publicly distancing herself from him. British outlets published the email which appears to have been sent after she had already told the public she ended contact with Epstein.

In the message she wrote “You have always been a steadfast generous and supreme friend to me and my family.” While she said she would “have nothing ever to do with Jeffrey Epstein ever again” the later email included a note saying she “humbly apologised” and “know you fell hellaciously let down by me.”
Queen Camilla appears nine times in the documents. The late Diana Princess of Wales appears fourteen times. Tony Blair is mentioned twenty two times and Lord David Cameron nineteen times. Gordon Brown appears sixteen times and Nigel Farage eighteen times.

The Epstein Files also include major British musicians. Sir Mick Jagger appears nine times. Adele appears eight times as does Elton John. Bono appears sixteen times the most of any British musician.

Other names include David Beckham who appears nine times and Colin Firth who appears ten times. Piers Morgan appears nine times. Naomi Campbell appears ten times. Stephen Hawking appears seventeen times. Richard Dawkins appears twenty nine times.
