Celebs look unrecognisable as they dress up for Halloween

Celebs have been enjoying some ghoulish fun for Halloween, looking a far cry from their on-screen roles.

Soap and reality TV stars and their families have been going all out for the occasion, dressing up in their best ghastly costumes.

And the compliments came flooding in for Corrie star Kym Marsh who cut a swashbuckling figure as Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

"Well @armandbeasley I think it’s safe to say you’re a genius!!!" she praised celeb makeup artist Armand Beasley.

"Omg you look amazing" said one fan.

"Fit as," praised her former Hear'Say bandmate Suzanne Shaw.

"Stop," pleased Bhavna Limbachia who played Rana Habeeb in Corrie.

"You look amazing," said former Hollyoaks actress Sophie Austin who is engaged to Kym's former co-star Shayne Ward.

Also leading the way was Kym's co-star Alan Halsall, who plays Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs.

Alan was also almost unrecognisable as a vampire in heavy makeup.

He was joined by his girlfriend Tisha Merry, who played Steph Britton in Corrie, and his daughter Sienna who both struck a pose as witches.

"Happy Halloween," he told his Instagram followers.

"Sass on Sienna," praised one follower.

Charlotte Crosby as a cat (Instagram)

Former Geordie Shore favourite Charlotte Crosby and her former Love Island star boyfriend Josh Ritchie, who live in Bolton, creeped their followers out by appearing to be covered in blood. And Charlotte also had Halloween licked as a cat.

And the Real Housewives of Cheshire star Seema Malhotra and her husband Sandeep looked fabulous as a skeleton bride and groom.

Seema, who is at the centre of the drama in the 10th series of the ITVBe reality show, wore a black floor-length gown and clutched a bouquet of blood red roses alongside her husband in a dapper black suit and a top hat.
