Celebs Go Dating star Wayne Lineker left fans divided over his flirting during his first appearance on the series tonight.
The 58-year-old entrepreneur and brother of Gary Lineker had viewers of the dating show "cringing" at his behaviour as he got to know some of the singletons who entered the mixer.
Wayne, who described himself as a "silver fox," mingled with lots of ladies during the boozy get-together alongside his co-stars Tom Zanetti and Curtis Pritchard.
And fans watching from home were left flustered behind their screens as they watched the Ocean Beach Ibiza owner get flirty.
One wrote: "Ewwww Wayne is a little cringe. My G stop with this behaviour. It's gross. #CelebsGoDating"
"Watching Wayne Lineker is absolutely CRINGE!!" another commented.
A third penned: "Wayne Lineker is a weird MF."
"Wayne Lineker a creep sorry," a fourth shared.
But others loved the businessman, with many sending him compliments.
"I'm only watching this cos of Wayne linaker #CelebsGoDating," one echoed. [sic]
"Wayne is worth millions, he will always win over these other 'celebrities' #CelebsGoDating," another added.
And a third wrote: "Wayne is making some movement go on big man!"
It comes after Wayne went viral on Instagram after listing criteria for his ideal girlfriend, which including them liking older men - but only Wayne - and definitely not being his own age, as "28 or 29 would work".
He also demanded that they not have "baggage" and that they are "intelligent, outgoing and not boring".
Speaking on This Morning ahead of his appearance on the E4 show, he told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: "My family are very concerned about me because when I'm single I tend to get carried away. I want to settle down and I don't want to have this crazy lifestyle."
He also revealed that he was persuaded by the coaches on the series to "broaden his age bracket" after initially requesting a girlfriend to be around 30 years old.
Holly looked less than impressed as she grilled Wayne on what was wrong with "women his own age".
Wayne sheepishly replied that he "wouldn't rule it out" but that it wasn't really his "thing".
"Every pot has a lid," Phil quipped.
