Poor Lee Ryan was probably hoping to find that all-important romantic connection when he went on Celebs Go Dating.
But instead, all he got was a pie to the face.
The Blue singer was so gutted after a woman told him she didn’t want to date him that he did a quick walk of shame out of the room.
Cringing viewers didn’t see it coming as Lee appeared to be getting on very well with the woman at the E4 show’s first mixer, which is why he decided to take the plunge and ask her on a date.
But it didn’t go to plan, and she delivered the rejection.
“I, um, yea… I’m going to have to say no,” she said.
Lee obviously couldn’t even bear to be in the room anymore with people watching, so he shot through the staring crowd and out of the door.
He found Jack Fincham, who was also starring in the show, and told him: "It was awful, everyone was looking at me. I died!"
Fans of the show were quick to air their thoughts on Twitter.
One said: “Lee Ryan is the ultimate cringe.”

A third said: “Poor Lee, that rejection was hard!"
A fourth posted: Ouch Lee Ryan is pure cringe!”
Another agreed: “Omg Lee is SO fkng cringe.”
While another viewer took a pop at his band's popularity: “Can’t believe Lee Ryan got turned down for a date, it just goes to show Blue isn’t as big like back in the hay day.”
