Lily Allen‘s new album West End Girl has the internet gagged, including some of her famous friends who seem to relate to the experience of her divorce from her philandering ex David Harbour.
Conversely, the Stranger Things star’s mates and colleagues have put their two cents in as well.

Gwyneth Paltrow
First up, the Goop founder supported her British pal with a screenshot of the album on her Instagram Story, writing: “This album is a masterpiece”.
In Lily’s memoir My Thoughts Exactly, she discussed connecting with Gwyneth Paltrow after meeting her at Kate Hudson‘s Halloween party in the midst of her alcohol addiction.
In the book, Lily recounts being rescued by Gwyneth and Chris Martin after she passed out at the holiday bash.
“I was very, very drunk and I head-butted something behind Orlando Bloom and knocked myself out,” she wrote.
Lily would later go on to tell E!: “Then Chris Martin, who is a friend of mine, and Gwyneth, who is a close friend of my mum, drove me home. He [Chris] left a Post-it note on my fridge just saying, ‘Give me a call tomorrow’. I did.”
“We went for lunch and he said, ‘I don’t think you’re in a great place right now, Lily, are you? Here’s the number of someone that can help’. They [Chris and Gwyneth] are great people.”

Fellow British pop star Jade Thirlwall, of Little Mix fame, commented “We are so back” on Lily’s post, along with an emoji of a bouquet of flowers, adding: “All the flowers”, on Lily’s other post in which she’s dressed as a smoking nun.

Alison Sudol
Here’s where it gets juicy: David Harbour’s ex, actress Alison Sudol, also popped her two cents in and to be fair, she certainly has skin in the game.
Alison, who dated the Stranger Things star before his marriage to the singer, celebrated the album in the comments section of Lily’s post with a series of flame reactions.

Caroline Calloway
An unlikely friendship indeed, scam influencer Caroline Calloway sung Lily’s praises on her Instagram Story, which was reshared by the singer, along with screenshots of DMs in which they previously connected.
“So you know how the lore with me literally never fucking stops even when I try to retire from the plot?” Caroline wrote.
“I’m absolutely geeking over the fact that @lilyallen wrote this MASTERPIECE of an album while reading Scammer… like I literally sent the copies straight to her West End stagedoor. It’s called HERSTORY, bitch.”
Terrence O’Connor
Next up, Terrence O’Connor — who announced his split from Benito Skinner just last week after nine years of dating — heralded the album, in particular the above tracks, writing: “Obviously the whole thing is perfect but especially this run… how @lilyallen?”
Lily shared the sweet shoutout to her own IG Stories.
Benito broke the news on the October 22 episode of his RIDE podcast, which he co‑hosts with his dear friend Mary Beth Barone.
In the episode, Benito said plainly, “Terry and I are no longer together,” confirming their breakup was entirely amicable.
“We both just love each other so much and have so much love and respect for each other, and we treated each other with love and respect until the end,” he told listeners.
“I feel so unbelievably lucky to have met him and be a part of his family — I love his family. I love the cousins,” Benito said on the episode, adding that their relationship shaped his entire twenties. “We grew up together,” he said, calling Terrence’s support “genius-level”.
Goddamn, it’s been a big year for breakups, huh?
It comes after a celeb claiming to be in the infamous Madeline with whom David Harbour cheated came forward with her response to the album.
