The Celebrity Traitors: Where to watch the show on TV

Think Traitors, but make it even better. The long-awaited Celebrity Traitors has debuted on BBC One – giving us the chance to see celebs like Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, Stephen Fry and Paloma Faith duke it out in the castle.

The premise of the show is simple. 19 celebs will enter the famous castle in the hills of Scotland. Three of those celebs secretly get given the role of Traitors: tasked with murdering the rest of the cast without getting found out.

The remaining cast, dubbed the Faithfuls, have the chance to get rid of the Traitors by ‘banishing’ those they think are guilty in a round table vote at the end of every day.

It’s set to be as nail-biting as ever (even if the prize money is going to charity this time) – but when exactly will the show be airing, and how can you watch? Here’s what to know.

When is the show airing?

The first episode of the Celebrity Traitors aired on Wednesday, October 8 at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.

Unlike previous seasons of the show, which showed three episodes a week, this will only show two, but there is good news: the first episode was a stonking 70 minutes long.

After that, episodes go back to being an hour long.

Celebrity Traitors episode dates

  • Wednesday 8 October — Episode 1
  • Thursday 9 October — Episode 2
  • Wednesday 15 October — Episode 3
  • Thursday 16 October — Episode 4
  • Wednesday 22 October — Episode 5
  • Thursday 23 October — Episode 6
  • Wednesday 29 October — Episode 7
  • Thursday 30 October — Episode 8
  • Thursday 6 November — Episode 9 (finale)

How many episodes are there?

Season One of The Celebrity Traitors in the UK will consist of nine episodes, including the (no doubt nail-biting) finale on 6 November.

How can you watch?

The Celebrity Traitors will be broadcast on BBC One and streaming on BBC iPlayer. It will also be available to catch up on BBC iPlayer after it’s aired. The rest of the Traitors seasons are on there too: why not treat yourself and watch seasons one-three back again as well?
