Celebrity sexologist's 'thankful' last social media post before being found dead

A TV sexologist who was found dead lying naked on the bed of a five-star hotel in Moscow, made a "thankful" social media post in the days before her death.

The sudden death of Anna Ambartsumyan, popular in Russia for her views on celebrity sex lives, is being investigated by police.

Just days before her death the 26-year-old who had more than 370,000 followers on Instagram shared a post as she visited the Moscow Circus in rehersals.

She was invited to see the huge tigers and lions as they practised the performance and sat in empty arena with her host's daughters who she introduced to her audience.

Her videos show the big cats performing on their hind legs, and sitting on command.

She posted: "Even as a child, I loved going to the circus mainly in order to look at tigers and lions, and now I stand with their patrons.

"In the wild, they have to fight for a piece of meat, for survival, but here they are safe, well-fed and healthy. Many of us don't treat our children that way.

"I will be happy to attend the show and I know for sure that what I saw there cannot be compared with anything!

"I wish eternal prosperity to brothers Edgard and Askold Zapashny."

This, her last post on Wednesday, July 15, was accompanied with videos of the tigers, and photos of her stood with the Zapashny brothers.

It has since been liked more than 7,700 times.

Mrs Ambartsumyan had a number of wealthy business admirers and had been gifted two Bentleys and an Aston Martin, according to reports.

She was a qualified doctor and psychologist who also claimed to be a psychic.

Celebrity lawyer Sergey Zhorin said she had been recently threatened by debt collectors who called her up to 20 times a day.

“I'm scared. They are very aggressive,”  she told him.

"I recommended her to contact the law enforcement authorities,” he said.

The police investigation continues.
