Celebrity Rangers fan celebrates historic 55 title win with funny post

One of Rangers' biggest celebrity fans has marked the club's historic title win today with an amusing post.

WWE wrestler Drew McIntyre saluted the Ibrox side after they were crowned Scottish Premiership champions this afternoon.

And the Ayrshire grappler couldn't hide his delight when he posted a picture of his celebrations on Twitter.

Quite simply, Drew shared a photo of him clad in a Gers strip while high-fiving a cat.

The 35-year-old is also sending Steven Gerrard's men a custom WWE title to commemorate the victory.

McIntyre drew parallels between his own championship journey and that of his favourite football club.

He tweeted: "We share a story of ups and downs, working harder than anyone else to get back on the path to championship glory. Congratulations to @RangersFC, winners of the Scottish Premiership. This custom @WWE Championship is YOURS!!"

Former pro wrestler Triple H also echoed Drew's well wishes and joined in congratulating the Scottish Premiership Champions the newly-crowned Light Blues.
