Celebrity Juice sees Holly Willoughby fall down stairs in final ever episode

Holly Willoughby is seen falling down the stairs in a first look at the final ever episode of Celebrity Juice. The last episode of the Keith Lemon hosted show will air tonight (Dec 8).

As the programme's original team captains, Holly and Fearne Cotton will return for the special finale, The Mirror reports. Also joining Keith will be current team captains Laura Whitmore and Emily Atack, as well as Maya Jama, Big Narstie, Chris Ramsey, Will Mellor, Joey Essex and some surprise guests.

A first look at tonight's episode shows Holly collapsing on the stairs as she competes in one of the challenges - which seems to involve trying to take a piece of cardboard back to the desks.

The clip shows her wrestling for the cardboard and then tripping and falling on her back, nearly onto members of the audience. Emily Atack and Will Mellor look on concerned, but Holly is fine and carries on with the game.

Keith has said he got emotional as the show ended after 26 series - although he has promised that the final episode will be fun. He said: "It's a lot of fun and I got a bit emotional at the end. I don't think that bit is in.

"I was in like some kind of emotional bubble. It was a bit like a dream, but I was trying to cherish the day. I came off stage and just hugged my wife and teared up.

"It's making me tear up now just thinking about it. It was a great ending and we just played all the classic games. And of course, there was a T-Rex there! Gotta have a T-Rex on ya last show haven't ya? And do ya know what I thought I'd be cool about it."

Speaking about the chances of the show, or something like it, returning, he added: "It ran for a long time and came to its natural end. I'd love to do the odd special or some kind of live thing that's in a similar vein to Juice. It was so fun. But who knows?"

Keith said he believed the programme was successful because of its "naughtiness" and the genuine bond between the panel, adding: "It was rude, naughty, not everyone's cuppa but at its core there was a lot of heart in that show.

"The crew that worked on it were amazing. When me Holly and Fearne first got together we didn't really know each other. Well Holly and Fearne were already mates obviously.

"But I guess it was the chemistry between us. We were like this dysfunctional family and each found our roles really quickly. Kelly Brook stood in for Fearne and she's a mate, I did a film with her."

He added: "Paddy did a series as a captain and he's a proper mate, and Mel B! Another mate. And then Emily and Laura came in who I've been mates with for years. It was all about friends having a fun time and I think people enjoy watching people having fun. I'll miss it loads and I'll miss meeting all of those wonderful guests that we had on over the years."

Celebrity Juice: The Happy Ending will air tonight (Thursday) at 10pm on ITV2.
