Celebrity hair stylist Adee Phelan blasts government in sweary explosive Good Morning Britain rant

Celebrity hair stylist Adee Phelan has blasted the government's handling of the coronavirus pandemic in an explosive and foul-mouthed rant on Good Morning Britain.

Adee appeared on the ITV daytime show today via video link and was asked by host Piers Morgan about the government's handling of the Covid-19 crisis.

The stylist then launched into a passionate rant and branded the government "b*******", Birmingham Live reports.

Revealing his gestures to the NHS amid the ongoing pandemic, Adee revealed he has been providing gift boxes to thousands of NHS staff on the frontline containing hair equipment.

But Adee's passion spilled over, causing Susanna Reid to apologise after he branded the government's handling of the health crisis "BS".

He also implored the government to "get their s***" together during his chat with Piers and Susanna.

Piers refused to apologise to viewers for the moment.

Celebrity hairdresser Adee shot to fame by cutting the locks of stars including David Beckham, Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding and Oscar winner Liza Minnelli.

Adee starred in The Secret Millionaire almost a decade ago, where he distributed £58,000 among a hospice, a rehabilitation unit, a children’s youth centre and one individual.

He met the recipients and learned of their plights while cutting hair in a temporary salon under the guise of an everyday hairdresser called James McCarthy who claimed to be making a TV series about ‘pop-up’ shops.

Despite Adee's foul language, GMB viewers praised his impassioned speech.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Adee Phelan best interviewee on @GMB in a long time"

Another added: "This bloke is fab, Adee Phelan #GMB"

"Adee Phelan for PM! #GMB," a third said.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV
