Mystery surrounds the reason why TV star Gyles Brandreth appeared on the box with a shiner.
The Celebrity Gogglebox personality wore shades when on the show with friend Maureen Lipman - which he removed to reveal a black eye.
It is unclear how Gyles sustained the injury, Wales Online reports.
He joked with an audibly shocked Maureen that he'd been telling people it was the result of them tussling over the remote control.

Fans wanted to know more on social media.
Double Standards tweeted: " #CelebrityGogglebox what's Giles done to his face , this man is bloody brilliant so funny [sic]."
The same question came from Siobhan: "What happened to giles eye #CelebrityGogglebox [sic]."
Jay tweeted: " #CelebrityGogglebox yeah but how did Gyles get the blackeye?!"
Owen said: "I bet everyone watching this now wants to know the real reason for Gyles’ black eye."
