Celebrity Gogglebox cast as Channel 4 announces new lineup for Black to Front day

Celebrity Gogglebox is getting a makeover for Channel 4's Black to Front day, with a new cast for this special episode.

Today, Friday, September 10, Channel 4 is celebrating and promoting black talent by switching some of their shows such as Steph's Packed Lunch, which was fronted by Mel B, and bringing back The Big Breakfast to star an all black cast.

Celebrity Gogglebox has also undergone a new line-up and here are the stars you can catch on Channel 4 tonight at 9 pm.

Look out for Wales' own Tayce, who was one of the stars of this year's RuPaul's Drag Race UK.

Tia Kofi and Tayce Szura-Radix

Tayce and Tia are both drag queens (Channel 4)

The Welsh drag queen and model Tayce Szuar-Radix will appear alongside fellow drag queen Tia Kofi in tonight's episode.

Tayce, who is from Newport and appeared in the second series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK which aired earlier this year where Tayce was a runner-up.

Tia appeared in the same series of RuPaul's Drag Race as Tayce and came seventh and both will be going on tour together for RuPaul's Drag Race UK: The Official Tour next year.

Ashley Banjo, Jordan Banjo, and Perri Kiely

The Diversity boys will be chatting about telly tonight (Channel 4)

The Diversity crew that shot to fame in 2009 on Britain's Got Talent will be kicking back and enjoying some TV together for tonight's show.

You will recognise Ashley Banjo, Jordan Banjo, and Perri Kiely from their memorising dance routines as they have toured the UK multiple times and Perri also took part in the 2020 series of Dancing on Ice.

Jordan and Perri now host the morning breakfast show on Kiss FM and Ashley is now a judge on Britain's Got Talent.


Fatima Timbo and Kimmy Soko

Both Fatima and Kimmy are disability activists (Channel 4)

You may recognise Fatima Timbo and Kimmy Soko from their activist work as they both promote and campaign for different disabilities.

Fatima is a dwarf model and has over 220,000 Instagram followers and raises awareness for the disability. She has also appeared on a celebrity special of BBC3's Eating with My Ex.

Kimmy is the CEO of Disability DEI Firm and a passionate activist for black lives and the campaign Dope Black Disabled.

Rudolph Walker and Tameka Empson

The EastEnders stars will be swapping Albert Square for their sofa tonight (Channel 4)

These EastEnders stars will be coming together to watch some TV for this special episode of Gogglebox.

Rudolph Walker has starred in Eastenders since 2001 and is a highly decorated actor as in 2006 he was awarded an OBE and last year a CBE for his services to drama and charity.

Tameka Empson has played Kim Fox in Eastenders since 2009 and took part in the 2016 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Jourdan Dunn and Antoine Dunn

Jourdan is a world famous supermodel and will appear alongside her brother Antoine (Channel 4)

Jourdan Dunn is a world-famous supermodel and she was the first black model to walk the Prada runway in 2008 for the first time in over a decade.

This model has won multiple Model of the Year awards and starred in music videos for the likes of Beyoncé as well as releasing her own clothing lines.

Antoine Dunn is a personal trainer at the London boxing studio Kobox and started boxing when he was 19. The pair share a close relationship as he is her trainer.

Eddie Kadi and Michael Dapaah

These two comedians are sure to have viewers in giggles throughout the episode.

Michael Dapaah shot to fame for his famous character Big Shaq and his iconic rap 'Man's Not Hot' which became an internet sensation. Michael continues now stars on the fitness show "Belly Must Go".

You may have heard Eddie Kadi on Radio 1Xtra and he curated a PanAfrican global conversation platform called PANAFROLINK.

Derrick Evans and Rustie Lee

More popularly known as Mr Motivator, Derrick Evans is a fitness instructor who was very well known in the nineties, and more recently he joined BBC's HealthCheck UK Live which aimed to keep Britain fit in lockdown.

He will be joined by celebrity chef Rustie Lee who has appeared on TV for years, including This Morning and Celebrity Super Spa.

Tinie Tempah and Lost Girl

Two stars of the rap world will join together on the sofas for this episode.

Tinie Tempah is a very famous rapper who has been creating hits for years and is known for his songs such as Pass Out, Girls Like, and Written in the Stars.

Lost Girl is more recent to the rap scene with her singles Rockabye and I Won't Give Up, she also performed at the Reading and Leeds festival this year.

Judi Love and Charlene White

The Loose Women will be talking telly tonight (Channel 4)

These two Loose Women will be swapping chatting in the afternoon to discussing TV later this evening.

Judie Love has shot into fame over the last few years as a comedian, becoming a Loose Woman panellist, and now will be one of the stars of the new series of Strictly Come Dancing. You can read more about the Strictly lineup here.

Judi will be joined by Charlene White who recently joined the Loose Women panel earlier this year. Before Loose Women, she presented news programmes such as BBC Look East and was the first black woman to present ITV News at Ten.

Ghetts and Wretch 32

Wretch 32 and Ghetts, two rap and grime legends will be on the show tonight (Channel 4)

Another rapping duo to star is Ghetts and Wretch 32.

Ghetts has been on the rapping and grime scene since 2005 and earlier this year released his third studio album Conflict of Interest.

Wretch 32 has also been on the music scene since the late 2000s and is known for his song Unorthodox.

Maya Jama and Munya Chawawa

Maya and Munya have teamed up for this Black to Front episode (Channel 4)

Presenter and media personality Maya Jama is teaming up with comedian Munya Chawawa.

Maya Jama currently presents BBC3's Glow Up and previously had her own shown on BBC Radio One and has also launched her face and eye mask range.

Munya Chawawa shot to fame during the pandemic with his "Fire in the booth" freestyle and parody sketches.

Babatunde Aleshe and Mo Gilligan

The pair that already feature on Celebrity Gogglebox is back this week for the special episode.

Babatunde Aleshe is a comedian who has toured the country and starred in TV shows such as New Tricks, Waking the Dead, and EastEnders.

He is joined by Mo Gilligan who is also a comedian and you may recognise him as a judge on the hit shows The Masked Singer UK and The Masked Dancer UK.

Celebrity Gogglebox for Channel 4's Black to Front day airs tonight, Friday, September 10, at 9 pm on Channel 4.
