Celebrity chef Donal Skehan and wife Sofie are expecting their second child

Donal Skehan has revealed his partner Sofie has a “bun in the oven”.

The telly chef announced he and his wife are expecting their second baby in November.

The doting dad announced on his Instagram account that one-year-old Noah was to become a big brother.

The 33-year old Dubliner broke the news saying:  “There’s a bun in the oven! New arrival coming November 2019.”

The celebrity chef relocated to Los Angeles with Sofie three years ago working with Jamie Oliver on the Food Network and continues to work on food shows for RTE whilst cracking the states.

The dad-of-one couldn’t contain his excitement any longer having kept the impending arrival a secret for months.

He said: “We've been keeping a little secret for the last four months but it's time to let you know that our family is set to get a new addition later this year.

"In November, Noah is going to be a big brother! Sofie Skehan is pregnant with a second little baby and we couldn't be more excited."

The self confessed foodie thanked fans for their continual support and said he can't wait for his followers to find out more about his exciting new adventure.

He added: "Here we go again! As always a massive thank you for all the support during this special time, we are always blown away by this brilliant community and can't wait to share the journey with you."

The couple wed in an intimate ceremony at Dublin City Hall in 2015 and celebrated with a wedding reception at Lisnavagh House in Co Carlow.
