The Great British Bake Off fans were left divided after the celebrity contestants were tasked with making chocolate crumpets.

During tonight's episode, Jeremy Paxman, Joe Wilkinson, Sally Lindsay and Georgia Toffolo took part in the bakery competition to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.

When it go around to the technical challenge, viewers were gobsmacked when Paul Hollywood announced that the celebs would be baking chocolate crumpets.
