Celebrities living their best lives in home pools as heatwave hits Britain

While temperatures soar in Britain everyone is looking for a quick way to cool down.

Many celebrities are lucky enough to own pools in their homes and can go for a quick dip to cool off. With many owning vast mansions and acres of land, a pool seems to be a must in A-Lister homes.

We take a look at some of our favourite celebrities and how they are coping with the heat in their luxurious homes. They own an array of different swimming pools - from indoor to outdoor and even some huge inflatable pools.

Here are all the celebs cooling down during the heatwave.

Amanda Holden

The Britain's Got Talent judge lives in a luxurious home in the Cotswolds, which offers incredible views of the wholesome countryside. She shares the stunning home with her husband and two daughters.

Over the past few days, she has shared some snaps of her lounging in a pool. On one pic she was posing in a blue bikini while relaxing on a unicorn inflatable. Another image showed her balancing on the edge of an infinity pool with the sun glaring in the background.

Rylan Clark

Celebrity Gogglebox star Rylan Clark is bossing the UK heatwave with a delivery of brand-new sun loungers and a dip in his private pool. On Tuesday, as temperatures hit 40C in some parts of the UK, he shared an Instagram Stories video of him dipping his feet in the water.

Before that he posted a video of two new sun loungers as he wrote: "Room for two." In June, Rylan shared a picture sat on a huge outdoor corner sofa.

He wrote: "Getting ready for summer and I’ve shopped with them loads over the years and ended up getting this lovely set and rug from @modafurnishings. Always nice to say thank you ain’t it!!!! I’m ready to get the fire pit going!!!! Some lovely bits on there! Thanks guys really appreciate it xxx #gifted."

Stacey Solomon

Loose Women presenter Stacey Solomon has worked hard renovating her swimming pool at Pickle Cottage. And luckily, she finished it just in time for the heatwave hitting.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the TV personality explained that she is making the most of the pool with her four kids and husband-to-be, Joe Swash. She wrote: "Good morning. I've got work later and the boys have got school so we got up bright and early this morning to have some pool time.

"Feel so lucky and grateful to have the pool. Especially in this weather. Hope you are ok today, it's going to be hot so look after yourself and the fur babies."

Danielle Lloyd

Danielle Lloyd unveiled her new luxury swimming pool in her stunning garden earlier this month. Just like Stacey, she finished her renovations just in time for the good weather.

The 38-year-old says there has been 'blood, sweat and tears' to create her dream outdoor space, but finally it has been completed. Danielle wasted no time as she enjoyed the sunny weather and took a dip with her daughter Autumn. Posting on her Instagram, Danielle shared several photos of her huge pool area.

Today, on her Instagram Stories, she shared further pictures showing the whole family having fun in the pool. She also hired a photographer to take drone shots of her luxurious garden.

Paddy McGuinness

Paddy and his wife Christine seem to be keeping things a bit more down to earth. Rather than having a pool readily installed, they bought a huge inflatable pool for their three kids - nine year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and five year-old Felicity.

The comedian branded his pool a "council infinity pool" as he shared a video of him cleaning it out himself. He emptied it as he said: "Oh dear, the council infinity pool has seen better days."

He added: "Never mind covid, need a vaccine just to get in that." He scrubbed the pool with a brush and then later refilled it.
