Gardai joined a special lady for some birthday celebrations in her front garden on Sunday as she reached a massive milestone.
Kathleen Kavanagh from Cabra celebrated her 100th birthday and put on her dancing shoes to bust a few moves over the weekend with Garda Mark of the Garda Band performing 'For She's A Jolly Good Fellow' on the saxophone.
Kathleen proved age is just a number and that she is as fit as a fiddle in the heartwarming video as she celebrates her second birthday in lockdown.
Gardai later took to social media to share a video of the visit.
They wrote on Twitter: “Garda Mark of the Garda Band and Garda Shane, Community Policing Cabra Garda Station, called to celebrate the 100th birthday of Kathleen Kavanagh from Dublin 7 yesterday.
“Happy birthday Kathleen!”
Users responded to the video of Kathleen dancing on her special day.
Someone said: “Happy birthday Kathleen. Well done guys I'm sure this lifted her spirits.”
Another said: “Happy birthday Kathleen hope I have your energy and style at 100.”
