Celebrating International Polar Bear Day with wee Hamish's best moments

It's International Polar Bear Day , so what better excuse to celebrate Scotland's cutest critter?

The un-bear-ably cute Hamish came into our lives in December 2017 (best Christmas present ever?) and has become a firm favourite at Daily Record HQ.

Most days he can be found roaming around his enclosure with mum Victoria at the Highland Wildlife  Park in Kingussie, even when the weather gets a bit grizzly.

These days he's grown-up a fair bit, but still keeps visitors entertained with his adorable antics.

Hamish, Scotland's favourite polar bear! (Daily Record)

Amazing pictures from last February showed the cub frolicking about in the snow while appearing to grin from ear to ear.

His birth was the first time a polar bear cub had been born in the UK for a quarter of a century.

Hamish was given his name after Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) drew up a shortlist for the public to vote on ahead of his grand entrance into the world.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy our montage of Hamish's best bits!
