Oh, how the time flies. The Dolphins will be kicking off their 2019 preseason campaign tonight against the Atlanta Falcons — on the anniversary of a huge Dolphins landmark. On this day, fourteen years ago, Dan Marino was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Marino retired in the spring of 2000 as arguably the greatest passer of all-time. And a whole generation of Dolphins fans have since been raised without knowing the prestige and greatness that Marino bestowed upon the franchise throughout his prime in the 1980s.
Until now. To celebrate Marino’s anniversary of being inducted into the Hall of Fame, we’re going to be dumping a series of Dan Marino highlights here.
